In tonight’s selection from Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, he offers a remedial lesson in the celebration of Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper or the Holy Eucharist, whichever term you like best. What Paul wants the Christians in Corinth to remember is that when they eat the bread and drink from the cup, they are to be witnesses to the heart of the Gospel. And the heart of the Gospel is about feet.
