On Sunday, Feburary 24, 2019, about 50 parishioners at St Stephen's gathered for our Annual Vestry Meeting. The vestry of St Stephen's is every member of the parish over the age of 15 who meets the eligibility to vote. The annual meeting reviews the ministries and projects of the previous year -- including financial statements and sets a budget for the current year.

Our meeting began with soup and a bun and birthday cake (it is a St Stephen's tradition to celebrate birthdays with cake on the last Sunday of each month). We reviewed submitted reports, shared some highlights from those reports, and heard about our financial situation. We also elected new members to Parish Council and appointed lay eucharistic ministers to assist in worship.
