Northeast Burnaby Fair a Success

The Northeast Burnaby Inter-Agency Committee (where Pastor Ruth represents St Stephen’s) held a Neighbourhood Fair in nearby Cameron Park. This event was an opportunity for our neighbours to come together, meet some service providers in the area, and build connections. St Stephen’s had a table with information about the New to You Market and our Community Meal.

The Fair brought out over 700 of our neighbours! Elaine, Esther, Pat N, Theresa, Janet, and Pastor Ruth spoke to people at our table. Bob R helped the Primary Care Network Team cook and serve over 400 hot dogs and Rick who arrived at the end and helped ensure we got back all the St Stephen’s tables we loaned the event.
