This is one of St Stephen’s major fundraisers each year and an important connection point for folks in our wider community. There are many ways you can contribute to the Christmas Market.
Invite Your Friends and Neighbours
This is a great event to bring your Christmas Market loving friends to! Posts on the St Stephen Facebook page can be shared to your own feed. You can hang the flyer, available from the Parish Office, in your apartment building’s notice area. Please see Pastor Ruth if you have the time and willingness to hang some additional posters in local businesses.
The Edward Kind Memorial Raffle
Tickets are $1 each or $10 for a book of 10. Please see this post for more details.
The Craft Table
Donate your handiwork to the Craft Table for sale! Several crafters have been busy making stuffed toys, knit hats, and wine glass coasters – among other goodies. Items for sale must be at the Church no later than Sunday, November 26 to be priced for this year’s sale.
The Baking Table
Always a hit is our Home Baking Table. Now is the time to plan your bakes! Sweet and savoury offerings are well received. Baked items should be attractively packaged for sale and can be brought in on the afternoon of Friday, December 1st (or before 10am on Saturday, December 2)
The Nativity Display
As a way to invite our Market visitors to experience the beauty of our sanctuary, we are repeating our Nativity Scene display. Can you loan us one of yours? If so, please bring them in no later than Thursday, November 30th. Be sure they are labeled so they can be returned to you after Sunday, December 3rd.
Volunteering
Volunteers are needed for Set Up (Friday after 1pm), Take Down (Saturday after 3pm), various positions during the day on Saturday including coffee and tea sales and hosting the Nativity Display area. Please see Janet or Val if you would like to volunteer this year.
